I have long retired from video editing and video recording, but that was once a hobby of mine which did not take off in the direction I had hoped. As a child, I really loved the idea of producing videos and acting. Yet I was not a decent enough actor and my videos were not so interesting. As YouTube was taking off, I had come across the famous YouTube channel - Smosh. I absolutely loved watching both Ian and Anthony and wanted to produce funny videos with a former friend of mine.
Over a long period of time, I have watched many different videos of many different genres and themes. I have watched comedies, horrors, animations, and more. Within the past I have come across websites and communities which sadly no longer exist, or still exist deep within the internet. I have seen highly talented individuals rise and fall. I have been entertained countless hours by entertainers such as the Ray William Johnson.
My personal early days of video editing and video producing consisted of low pixel and basic webcams or digital cameras. My videos were of very poor quality and were often made using Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP. There was no proper effects and no proper acting, they were not that good. I even experimented with animation with LEGO but the videos never came out too great, either.
I have had lots of inspiration and yet failed to deliver. The interest has not been mutual with other friends either, which somewhat killed the hobby for me. They were not passionate about video editing like I once was. I retired my YouTube channel as the World Wide Web seeks channels much better.
